COVID-19 Vaccine Boosters

All Summerville vaccine clinics are currently full. Please continue to check back as new clinics will be scheduled. You may also want to try the Ministry of Health booking portal: How to book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment (ontario.ca) or your local pharmacy.

Our partners at Apple Hills Pharmacy, co-located with our Apple Hills Summerville location at 1222 Bloor St. in Mississauga, have Pfizer and Moderna vaccines available. Walk-ins accepted or call 905-625-3268 for more information.

As of February 18, 2022, Ontario expanded booster dose eligibility to youth aged 12 to 17. Appointments can be booked through the provincial booking system and the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre, as well as at select pharmacies administering the Pfizer vaccine. Appointments will be booked for approximately six months (168 days) after a second dose. To book an appointment online, these individuals must be 12 years old at the time of appointment.

Early evidence suggests that a third dose or booster can further increase protection against severe illness and hospitalization. It is critical that all Ontarians receive their booster dose as soon as possible. Either Moderna or Pfizer vaccines may be used as a third dose (regardless of which COVID-19 vaccine was used in the primary series).

Patients recovering from COVID or who have COVID symptoms must wait at least 10 days from symptom onset and until all symptoms have been resolved for at least 48 hours before coming into the clinic. This will reduce exposure for the staff and other patients to keep everyone safe.
